Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Engineering Services Manager is responsible for managing all technical services to ensure safe and reliable function of equipment and facilities to support supply chain operations.
Key Accountabilities
Asset Management
- Leading the ES team to deliver reliable operations and maintenance of industrial and domestic services in factories, warehouses, and offices
- Manages maintenance and utilities budgets for industrial services and facilities management
- Engineering store management to support engineering and operations.
- Management and upkeep of engineering facilities such as workshops and trade shops.
- Ensure all external government and legal requirements for buildings and facilities are met
Project Management
- Responsible for the development and delivery of projects to continuously improve site utilities and services.
- Supporting projects in other areas of engineering and operations through deployment of resources
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Experience
- 7 years of experience in industrial services, electrical engineering, or civil maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of engineering services (such as HVAC and air compressors) and other building systems (such as water supply and lifts)
- Knowledge of electrical and automation engineering and control systems
- Data driven continuous improvement of utilities
- Legal requirements for buildings and facilities
